Human defined & controlled AI Code

Define the task. Build the feature. Check the result.

Custom WordPress and WooCommerce plugins, add-ons and AI-enabled functions.

Define the business task first.

Use AI in the coding process.

Keep review, acceptance and release decisions with people.

What do we mean by AI web development?

Logue Media uses AI-assisted coding to develop agreed WordPress and WooCommerce features. People define the requirement and perform Quality Assurance. The feature can be conventional software or an AI-enabled function. Those are different choices, and the brief makes the distinction clear.

Does every plugin use AI when it runs?

No. AI can assist the development process without being part of the finished feature. A custom form, business rule or integration may run as conventional software. An AI-enabled feature has a separate requirement for the model, data and ongoing service.

What kinds of features can be scoped?

Examples include a specific form workflow, an admin tool, a WooCommerce business rule or a connection to an external system. AI-enabled examples may assist search, summarisation or staff tasks. Each idea is reviewed for fit before it becomes an agreed service commitment.

Who decides whether the code is ready?

People do. The specification defines expected behaviour and acceptance checks. Generated code is reviewed and tested on staging. The business reviews the agreed workflow before release; AI output is not treated as approval.

A generated feature still needs a proper development brief.

A broad instruction can produce code without resolving the business rules. Who uses the feature, which data it changes and what should happen when something fails may still be unclear. A working demonstration does not answer those questions.

We define the user, task, inputs, outputs and exceptions in plain language. Acceptance examples then show what the feature must do before coding begins. This gives human review a concrete reference.

The workflow separates requirement, implementation and acceptance. AI helps with coding; it does not define what the business should accept.

Keep a human decision at every important development gate.

AI can assist coding. People still define the task, review the result and approve what goes live.

The cards appear in order. Hover, tap or focus to reveal each card’s detail.

  1. Make the business rule testable.

Write down who can use the feature, which information it can access and what a successful result looks like. An example and an exception are more useful than an open-ended prompt.

  2. Keep implementation reviewable.

Use AI to assist implementation against that brief. This does not automatically mean putting an AI tool in front of your customers. An AI-enabled feature needs a separate decision about data, reliability and running costs.

  3. Approve behaviour, not a demo.

Review the code and test representative cases on staging. Check permissions, unexpected inputs and recovery steps before a person authorises deployment.

Real content makes the design review useful.

Define the task. Build the feature. Check the result.

The requirement and release decision stay with people.

Choose the feature, then choose how it is implemented.

Custom WordPress plugin

Build a defined WordPress function when suitable existing configuration or software does not meet the task.

  • Describe the task, users and permissions.
  • Assess existing plugins against the requirement.
  • Define inputs, outputs and failure behaviour.
  • Review the code and acceptance tests on staging.
  • Document configuration, ownership and future maintenance.

Confirm permissions, input handling, failure cases and handover requirements.

WooCommerce add-on

Develop a specific store behaviour around agreed product, order or staff requirements.

  • Specify the product, cart or order rule.
  • Identify the WooCommerce features the add-on must support.
  • Keep payment and customer-data responsibilities clear.
  • Test representative transactions and exception cases.
  • Agree a release route that protects live trading.

Check the agreed store environment, including relevant checkout and order storage features.

AI-enabled function

Add an AI service only when it has a useful role in the workflow.

  • Decide where an AI response would help the user.
  • Define approved information and data boundaries.
  • Provide a human review or fallback where required.
  • Test incorrect, missing and unsuitable responses.
  • Separate API usage charges from the development quote.

Agree how inaccurate output, service failure and ongoing costs are handled.

Define what the feature can read, change and release.

Custom software requires more than a screen design. This checklist makes the behaviour, operating boundary and review responsibility visible before the work is approved.

AI WordPress & WooCommerce Development scope inputs
Development decision What belongs in the specification
User permissions Who may view, run or change the function.
Data handling Inputs, validation, storage, output and external transfers.
Integration Required APIs, credentials, limits and failure behaviour.
Compatibility Installed WordPress/WooCommerce environment and relevant dependencies.
Acceptance Examples of correct results, rejected inputs and exception handling.
Handover Code access, configuration, documentation and maintenance responsibility.

Senior development expertise. Less time spent coding.

$200 per hour + GST.

You’re engaging a senior resource. AI assists the coding work, helping reduce implementation hours. People define the feature, review the code and approve the release.

We estimate the hours against your WordPress plugin, WooCommerce add-on or AI-enabled function. The proposal identifies the development tasks, testing and handover, so you know what the estimate covers.

API usage, third-party licences and ongoing support are scoped separately. A Package covers agreed one-off work. A Plan covers agreed recurring work. See website pricing when the feature forms part of a broader website project.

From a business task to a reviewed plugin release.

Four decisions move the build forward. Hover, tap or focus on a stage to open its detail. Once opened, the detail stays available.

1

Agree the feature’s boundaries.

Describe the users, inputs and permitted actions. Bring real examples of the task, including cases the feature should refuse or pass to a person.

2

Build against the specification.

Review the plugin on staging with representative data. Keep changes in source control and identify dependencies, licences and external services.

3

Test the rules and exceptions.

Check user permissions, data handling and failure cases. Human review compares the code and behaviour with the agreed acceptance examples.

4

Approve a managed release.

Agree backup, rollback and deployment responsibilities. Hand over operating instructions, maintenance ownership and any recurring API costs.

AI & Custom WordPress Development on the Central Coast.

A useful feature begins with the business task, not the technology label.

Discuss the local business workflow

Local custom development starts with an in-person conversation about the work people actually do. Show us the repeated task, the information involved and the decision the feature should support.

No Central Coast requirement is dismissed for being too small or too large. A targeted WordPress add-on and a broader business solution both need a clear brief and human approval.

Regional visits for larger solutions

For larger regional solutions, on-site discovery can connect the website requirement to a wider Corporate Knowledge Intelligence System or business workflow.

Regional discovery covers roughly 2.5 hours of travel from Umina Beach. Relevant larger projects can include teams in Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Sydney, Parramatta, Penrith or Wollongong.

In-person discovery is arranged around the stakeholders and systems involved. Travel time and expenses are quoted in the proposal.

Remote feature reviews across Australia

Remote feature reviews use a staging example and agreed test cases. The business reviewer checks the behaviour, permissions and fallback before a release decision.

Questions to settle before approving AI-assisted development.

Agree the feature behaviour, human review and ongoing dependencies before coding begins.

Is AI-generated code automatically safe to deploy?

No. It requires human review and relevant testing. The project considers permissions, input validation, output handling, dependencies and the agreed operating environment before release.

Can an existing plugin be configured instead?

Yes. We assess suitable existing tools before custom development. Configuration may be simpler to maintain when it meets the requirement. Custom work should solve a defined gap rather than duplicate a suitable product without a clear reason.

Who owns the plugin code?

Code access, usage rights, third-party dependencies and handover are stated in the proposal. They need to be clear before work starts. External software and AI services may have their own licences and ongoing costs.

Does an AI feature replace human review?

The brief defines the required oversight. Drafting or summarisation features should make review practical and show their limitations. High-consequence decisions are not treated as suitable for unsupervised automation simply because a model can produce an answer.

Can you promise compatibility with every plugin?

No. The agreed compatibility scope identifies the site and relevant software. Changes after release need review and testing. Ongoing care and future compatibility work are separate responsibilities unless included.
