Search Marketing That Connects Discovery to Enquiries

Be found. Give a useful answer. Make the next step clear.

Search has several routes: organic results, Maps, AI answers and paid ads. We identify the gap, choose the relevant service and connect it to a page and enquiry path that works.

THE DIRECT ANSWER

What does Search Marketing cover?

Search Marketing connects SEO, Local SEO, on-page and technical work, external evidence, paid search and AI search readiness. You can commission one capability or combine several when the buyer journey requires it.

We begin with the question a customer asks, the page or listing they see and what happens next. Video and content can supply real proof when useful, but they are not prerequisites for buying search work.

THE BUYER JOURNEY

01 / DISCOVER

The buyer searches for a service or asks an AI tool a question. A useful result, Maps listing or ad needs to match their location and intent. If your business is absent or the promise is unclear, the journey stops here.

02 / VERIFY

They open a page and look for a direct answer, relevant experience and a reason to trust it. The details must be consistent with the result they clicked. A generic landing page or missing evidence creates doubt even when visibility is strong.

03 / ENQUIRE

The next action must fit the decision: call, request a quote or discuss a specific need. We check whether the path works and whether enquiries can be measured. The goal is a qualified conversation, not a higher traffic number on its own.

WHERE THE JOURNEY BREAKS

A result is only the beginning.

A buyer sees a result, checks the page, looks for proof and decides whether to contact you. Here is the problem we are trying to solve.

PAIN

The right buyer cannot find a clear route.

You may appear in one search surface but be absent from another. A local buyer sees an incomplete Maps result; a national buyer lands on a page that never answers their question. The problem is not always a lack of content. It can be the wrong page, a technical barrier or an offer that is hard to understand.

AGITATION

Each broken handoff wastes an opportunity.

A buyer finds your listing, checks the website, looks for proof and then decides whether to enquire. If the page is vague, the evidence is weak or the next action is unclear, that visit can end there. Paying for more clicks or publishing more pages may simply send more people through the same broken path.

SOLUTION

Choose the search work that fixes the gap.

We trace the route from the buyer’s question to the result, page, evidence and enquiry. That determines whether Local SEO, on-page content, technical repairs, external references, AI readiness or PPC should come first. We agree the scope, make the changes and compare qualified enquiries with the starting position.

DISCOVERY TO ENQUIRY

A visible result needs a useful destination.

The best first service depends on where the buyer’s journey breaks. Follow the route below to the work that addresses that gap.

CHOOSE A CAPABILITY

Six search services. Different jobs.

Start with the gap you can describe. Each service has its own scope and can stand alone; we connect them when the evidence and buyer journey call for it.

01

AI Optimisation

Make your offer, expertise and evidence easier to interpret in AI-assisted discovery. Measure answer samples cautiously. Clear On-Page SEO gives those systems better page-level answers to interpret.

02

Local SEO

Align an eligible Business Profile and useful local pages with genuine service areas and customer questions. On-Page SEO helps each local destination answer its own buyer question.

03

On-Page SEO

Give each page a distinct purpose, clear answer, meaningful internal links and a credible next action. Technical SEO checks whether those pages can be crawled and indexed.

04

Technical SEO

Find crawl, indexation, redirect, canonical and performance barriers affecting useful pages. Then On-Page SEO can make each accessible page clearer for its intended buyer.

05

Off-Page SEO & Backlinks

Build credible external references from real relationships, helpful evidence and relevant outreach. Strong On-Page SEO provides a useful destination for those references.

06

Pay Per Click

Buy targeted search visibility with an agreed budget, client-owned account and verified conversion actions. A relevant On-Page SEO destination also supports the paid visitor’s next step.

FIND A STARTING POINT

Which search service fits your gap?

Answer three questions to see a suggested service. The result is a starting point; the scope is agreed after reviewing your situation.

1. Where is the search gap?

WHAT EACH SURFACE TELLS YOU

Do not mix four different measures.

The business question and measurement change with the search surface.

Organic pages and qualified enquiries

A search result can show that a useful page is being found for a relevant question. We examine the query, the page Google presents and what the visitor can do after clicking. Improving a position is useful only if the page answers the buyer and leads to a meaningful next step.

What to measure: Review Search Console queries, impressions and clicks alongside page engagement, calls and forms. Separate visibility from enquiries; a rising ranking or click-through rate does not by itself establish commercial value.

Local discovery and real service areas

Maps is a different decision surface. An eligible Business Profile, accurate details, relevant categories and helpful local pages can make it easier for nearby buyers to assess whether your business serves them. The page should support the actual service area and explain what happens after contact.

What to measure: Review profile actions, calls, website visits and local landing-page enquiries. Direction requests may matter to a walk-in business but less to a service-area operation. Do not combine Maps actions with organic rankings.

Spend, search intent and lead quality

Paid search purchases placements for selected queries. It can be valuable when the offer, location, landing page and budget are defined. The account should remain client-owned, and ad copy should match the page a visitor reaches. Search terms and negative keywords help prevent spend on poor-fit traffic.

What to measure: Report media spend separately from management work. Compare click-through rate with conversion actions and qualified leads; a high CTR can still be costly when visitors do not become suitable enquiries.

Answer samples and source evidence

AI-assisted answers are generated by third-party systems and may vary by wording, time and user context. We can check whether your services, evidence and geography are represented accurately in a sample of relevant questions, then improve the pages and source material you control.

What to measure: Record the prompts, dates, answers and cited sources. Treat mentions and referrals as observations, not guaranteed placement or a stable ranking. Assess whether any resulting visits or enquiries can be verified.

PROCESS

A clear sequence.

We agree what the business needs to learn and who is responsible for changes before work begins. An AI Visibility Audit can provide a separate diagnosis when the cause is unclear.

01 / Locate the gap

Review pages, queries, local presence, ads and enquiry paths.

02 / Define the scope

Select a service and the pages, account or listings it affects.

03 / Do the work

Record changes, ownership, dependencies and missing evidence.

04 / Measure and decide

Compare reach, engagement and qualified enquiries with the baseline.

WORK YOU CAN INSPECT

Search work in real client projects.

These project pages show relevant website and search work. They provide context for the work performed; results and scope should be read on each project page.

MEASUREMENT / LIMITS

Know what changed and what it produced.

We record the baseline, work completed, relevant visibility and enquiry actions. Search Console, Business Profile, analytics and advertising accounts answer different questions. We distinguish traffic from qualified leads, and explain incomplete tracking or attribution.

No one can guarantee a first position, an AI citation or a fixed number of leads.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Six practical answers.

Can I buy one service without video?

Yes. We can scope Local SEO, technical repairs, on-page improvements, external references or PPC around the actual gap. For example, a business with a sound website but an incomplete Business Profile may need local work first. A site with important pages missing from search may need technical diagnosis. Video can add useful demonstrations, answers and proof when the buyer needs them, but it is not a condition of purchasing Search Marketing. We agree what is included, who owns the accounts and how the outcome will be checked.

Does AI Optimisation replace SEO?

No. AI-assisted discovery gives us another place to examine how a business is described and recommended. Its systems still need accessible pages, clear service information and credible evidence to interpret. Technical SEO, on-page structure and local accuracy remain useful work in their own right. We can review sample answers and the sources they mention, then improve the material you control. We cannot guarantee that a third-party AI tool will cite or recommend your business, so we track the evidence and explain what remains uncertain.

When should we use PPC?

Use PPC when there is a defined offer, a suitable landing page, an agreed budget and a way to verify calls or forms. It can test demand or give a new offer visibility while organic work develops. The advertising account and data should remain yours. We separate ad spend from management work and review search terms, lead quality and wasted clicks, rather than reporting impressions as success. If the page cannot explain the offer or handle enquiries, we should repair that path before increasing spend.

Which search service should we start with?

Start with the gap we can verify, rather than choosing every service at once. If priority pages cannot be indexed, technical work comes before writing more copy. If nearby customers cannot understand where you operate, check your Business Profile and local pages. If a defined offer needs immediate visibility, assess PPC and its landing page. We review the buyer question, the result or listing, the destination and the enquiry path, then agree one starting scope. The other services remain options if the evidence later calls for them.

How soon should we expect useful evidence?

It depends on the service and the starting position. Paid campaigns can begin producing measurable visits after launch, but lead quality needs enough data to judge. Technical repairs may first show whether important pages are being crawled and indexed; organic visibility and enquiries can take longer to change. We set a baseline, record when changes went live and agree the first review points. A fixed ranking date or guaranteed number of leads would be misleading, especially where tracking or third-party search results are outside our control.

Should we create a page for every suburb?

Only where a separate page genuinely helps a buyer. A useful local page may explain a distinct service area, real access, relevant work and the practical next step. Repeating the same offer with suburb names swapped gives visitors little value and can create doorway risk. We first keep the Business Profile accurate for the areas actually served, then decide whether a page has enough unique evidence and intent to stand on its own. Central Coast in-person delivery and regional Solution work should be described accurately; remote delivery needs its own clear scope.

HOW WE DELIVER

Search Marketing from the Central Coast and beyond.

The search work is scoped to the business problem. The way we meet and gather evidence depends on where you are and whether a broader Solution project needs physical access.

Central Coast / in person

We are based in Umina Beach. Central Coast clients can meet with us in person to clarify the offer, review the buyer journey and plan the search work. On-site evidence capture or workshops are included only when the agreed scope calls for them.

Regional / Solution project

For regional work, in-person activity is arranged as part of a defined Solution project when site access, interviews or evidence capture matter. We agree the purpose, location and travel costs before the visit. Research, implementation and reporting can continue remotely.

Other locations / remote

For clients in other locations, we plan and deliver Search Marketing remotely. Email handles documents and decisions; telephone and webcam meetings support discovery, reviews and decisions. We agree account access, responsibilities, milestones and reporting so distance does not obscure who is doing what.

Related work is scoped separately: Content Marketing can supply source material; Website Development may be needed for broader repairs; an AI Visibility Audit is a diagnostic product. See Pricing and plans for commercial options.

What is stopping the right buyer from finding you?

Tell us what you sell, where you operate and what you need search to achieve. We will identify the first sensible step and define its scope.
