DIRECT ANSWER
What is professional livestream production?
Professional livestream production coordinates cameras, audio, graphics and distribution for an event or programme. It can incorporate guests joining live from other locations, and it can schedule prerecorded segments or an entire prerecorded programme for delayed broadcast. Production is planned around remote connections, switching, encoding, audience access, permissions and any replay. Technical scope and platform limitations are agreed in advance; uninterrupted transmission is not guaranteed.
How is livestream different from recorded video?
For a live event, viewers receive the programme as it happens, including any remote guests connected in real time. For a delayed livestream, prerecorded material is transmitted at a planned time. Both require coordinated playback, audio, connectivity and platform checks.
What happens if venue internet is unreliable?
Uplink capacity and backup options should be assessed during pre-event discovery. Any redundancy requires available connectivity and an agreed configuration; it cannot remove all risk.
Can an event become clips and articles afterwards?
An event recording can be reviewed for replay, short clips and text assets where recording rights, audio quality and the agreed scope permit.
LIVE DELIVERY
There is no “fix it later” button.
The audience experiences the production as it happens. Audio, cues, switching and connectivity need agreed responsibilities before transmission starts.
Choose the livestream format that fits your event.
Select by the live audience, venue and type of access. Each option links to existing Logue Media livestream services.
Plan for a distributed audience
A conference, internal presentation or webinar may combine on-site presenters with remote guests joining live. Test each guest’s return audio, connection quality, contribution permissions and backup joining route. Delayed or prerecorded segments need their own playback cues and a clearly agreed broadcast schedule.
Account for access and venue constraints
Sport, worship and ceremonies require audience permissions, suitable site access and considerate planning for participants and viewers.
Make repeat broadcasts workable
Recurring programmes can combine live hosts, remote contributors and prerecorded segments, or be delivered as a scheduled delayed livestream. Plan transitions, honest audience expectations, platform settings and post-event replay.
From source to screen, four stages need to work.
Plan the complete route from presenters and microphones through switching, connectivity and an approved replay.

Onsite livestream production is planned around the venue, audience, programme, connectivity and available crew. Explore the regional scenarios below to understand the checks that shape each event quotation.
REMOTE INTERVIEWS & CONTRIBUTIONS
Bring distant guests into the production.
Remote speakers can contribute without travelling to the production venue.
Remote video — YoloLiv YoloBox Invite Guest: supported YoloBox systems can bring an invited contributor’s camera and audio into a live switching programme, subject to model, firmware and connection requirements.
Remote audio — RØDE CallMe: the RØDECaster Pro II can receive a remote interview audio feed, including via a guest’s browser, with a dedicated audio channel and mix-minus return.
We plan the guest’s joining process, microphone and camera check, return audio, rehearsal, timing and contingency. The configuration and any service entitlements are confirmed during scoping.

Agree the technical responsibilities before the event.
Identify venue access, remote-guest joining and audio arrangements, live or delayed transmission timing, operator support, network tests, viewer access and replay deliverables.
| Area | What to clarify |
|---|---|
| Organiser and venue | Event and scheduled-broadcast times, access, remote-guest arrangements, prerecorded-content permissions, venue networks and authorised platforms. |
| Production scope | Agreed cameras, microphones, remote guest contribution links, switching, prerecorded playback, crew, rehearsal and monitoring tasks. |
| Event-day decisions | Live and delayed-playback cues, remote guest transitions, audience controls, network escalation contacts and backup options where available. |
| Separate considerations | Specialist venue cabling, remote guest integration, extra cameras, connectivity, scheduled-playback setup, crew travel, graphics, replay editing and repurposed assets. |

Questions to settle before you book
Clear expectations are easier to build into a written brief than resolve during production.
How many cameras are required?
The shot plan depends on presenters, stage dimensions, venue access and the audience experience. A single camera can suit simpler events; multiple cameras need extra capture and switching decisions.
Can you guarantee the livestream will not drop out?
No transmission is risk-free. Pre-event tests and appropriately scoped fallback arrangements help manage risk but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
Who provides the internet connection?
Venue connectivity ownership, test access, permitted uplinks and backup requirements must be agreed with the organiser during scoping.
Will we receive a recording afterwards?
A recording or edited replay can be included in the proposal, subject to the platform, permissions, sound quality and approved deliverables.
Can viewers join privately?
Platforms may support restricted access, registration or invite-only viewing. The organiser must confirm viewer permissions and platform licensing.
Does a webcast include promotional clips?
Promotional and follow-up versions are separately scoped rather than presumed to be included in live broadcast production.
Can remote guests join the livestream live?
Yes. Remote guests can contribute live from other locations. We plan contribution links, return audio, latency, camera quality, permissions and a backup joining option where suitable. Guests should join a technical check before the event; their connections and equipment affect the result.
Can an event be streamed later rather than live?
Yes. A recorded event or programme can be prepared for a delayed or scheduled livestream, subject to the chosen platform. We scope editing, playback timing, access, approvals and monitoring. Where content is prerecorded, its presentation must not mislead viewers about whether it is happening live.
Tell us about your live event.
Share the venue, event date, presenters and any remote guests, the planned live or delayed broadcast time, audience access and streaming destination. We will clarify camera, audio, remote connection tests, prerecorded assets, rehearsals, recording and post-event delivery.
The proposal identifies what is included, what remains with the organiser, and what needs separate approval.
