START WITH THE BUSINESS, NOT THE GEAR

How does Logue Media use technology?

We understand the business first. We investigate its challenges and opportunities, confirm what matters with the client, then select the methodologies, people, equipment and software suited to an agreed solution.

UnderstandConfirmConnect

Why the business comes first

THE PROBLEM · A TOOL IS NOT A BUSINESS SOLUTION

Start with the business, not the equipment.

Even outstanding cameras, livestream technology or AI software can miss the point if the customer, market and business issues are not understood. We explore the issues, constraints and opportunities, confirm priorities with the client, and only then consider suitable solutions.

Four questions to build the right brief

Select a topic to see what we learn before discussing solutions.

Illustrative business and production setting

People, products, pricing and service

Understand who serves customers, what the business sells, its pricing, delivery and customer experience.

Output: a clearer, client-confirmed requirement, not a premature equipment recommendation.

Issues, constraints and opportunities

Identify gaps in budgets, locations, access, technology, staff availability and content evidence.

Output: a clearer, client-confirmed requirement, not a premature equipment recommendation.

CONNECTING THE REQUIREMENT TO RESULTS

How the pieces become one working system

Purpose: to show how a business requirement is converted into an agreed solution and delivery plan. The people, methods, cameras, sound, lights, livestream systems, editing software and AI tools must work together — they are not independent solutions.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

What clients should know about the technology

Does Logue Media bring every item to a shoot?

No. The equipment list shows available or owner-reported equipment, not the kit allocated to every project. We choose equipment and specialists from the agreed brief, location and budget.

Can you produce video, livestreams and podcasts with the same equipment?

Some components are shared, particularly microphones, lighting and cameras. Live switching, recording, monitoring, connectivity and delivery have different requirements, so we configure each workflow rather than assuming one setup suits all.

How do you check recording and livestream quality?

The plan includes appropriate tests of camera feeds, framing, sound, power, storage, venue conditions and network availability. Live projects also need a specific production and contingency plan; no network can be guaranteed.

Where does DaVinci Resolve Studio fit?

It is used in post-production for editing, colour correction and grading, audio tasks and rendering deliverables. The Speed Editor and Mini Panel support editing and colour workflows respectively.

How does ChatGPT fit into your production technology?

ChatGPT and similar AI tools may support planning, transcription review, content structure and repurposing, subject to permissions and source checking. Human reviewers remain responsible for accuracy and approval; AI is not a substitute for expert operators.

Do you own all the systems listed?

The hardware/software list has been supplied by Logue Media as its equipment register. Before commercial publication, model names, quantities, ownership/licensing status and imagery should be checked against a current inventory.

FROM REQUIREMENT TO DELIVERY

Let's discuss the business first.

Tell us what your organisation does, what needs to improve and what an effective result would look like. We'll review the objectives and opportunities before discussing options or preparing a suitable scope.

You don't need to know which cameras, software or systems to use. That's part of the discussion after we understand your goals.
