Livestream & Broadcast Technology
A livestream is a promise that the message will reach its audience while the event is happening.
How we choose it ↓Our equipment register ↓THE BUSINESS QUESTION
Why does a business need livestream & broadcast technology?
Business livestream systems combine cameras, microphones, switching, encoding, connectivity and people who monitor them. Logue Media selects a broadcast configuration from the event brief, audience, venue and contingency requirements—not simply from the number of cameras available.
THE ISSUE TO SOLVE
There is no useful edit after a live interruption
At a recorded event, a missed phrase may be reshot. In a live broadcast, unreliable audio, a failed connection or an unexpected source change affects viewers immediately.
The decision: test signal routes, audio, encoding, connectivity and fallbacks against the actual event run-of-show before the broadcast begins. Programme reliability takes precedence over equipment specifications.
FROM BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS TO WORKFLOW
Build reliability into the workflow
Before equipment is assigned, we confirm the expected result with the client and assess the operating conditions. These four checkpoints shape what is practical.
Step 1 of 4 — read then continue
01 / 04
Show requirements
Confirm programme, speakers, destinations, duration, sponsor assets and access arrangements.
02 / 04
Signal plan
Define camera feeds, slides, audio, switching, encoding and recording responsibility.
03 / 04
Network tests
Check practical wired or mobile pathways, upload stability and a realistic fallback plan.
04 / 04
Rehearsal & monitoring
Test the full path, confirm transitions and assign someone to watch programme sound and output.
THREE DIFFERENT BRIEFS
What changes when the business changes?
Choose an assignment. The image and the explanation change together, because what a customer needs to understand determines the practical production plan.

A corporate briefing
Business need: Leadership needs employees in multiple locations to receive the same message.
Selection logic: Prioritise understandable speech, readable slides, clear camera switching and a rehearsed delivery route.
Illustrative configuration, not a claim about a named client project.

A hybrid conference
Business need: In-room attendees and remote viewers must follow the same speakers.
Selection logic: Coordinate room microphones, programme feeds, transitions and connectivity independently of the on-site screen.
Illustrative configuration, not a claim about a named client project.

A specialist webinar
Business need: An organisation needs to teach while using slides and remote guests.
Selection logic: Plan speaker access, presentation legibility, moderation, recording and a fallback when remote links fail.
Illustrative configuration, not a claim about a named client project.
CAPABILITY IN CONTEXT
Equipment is the means, not the outcome.
We plan the people, site, method, technology and review checkpoints together. A useful result needs more than the right brand or model.
WHAT WE MAY SELECT
Broadcast equipment we use or recommend — not for sale
Logue Media uses or recommends suitable broadcast and livestream technology according to the brief. We do not sell these products, and availability and network suitability are checked per assignment. Availability, compatibility, operator requirements and the client brief must be confirmed.

RØDECaster Pro II / compatible audio inputs
Audio control and feed considerations as dictated by the production setup.

Netgear Nighthawk M6
A mobile connectivity device—not an encoder or a guarantee of adequate network performance.

Monitoring, power and recording arrangements
Tested production requirements, even where a particular item is not separately branded in the register.

What we check before the assignment
- Assuming a mobile hotspot is automatically reliable at any venue
- Failing to test audience audio separately from room sound
- Leaving presentations or remote guests out of the rehearsal
- Treating recording and live transmission as the same deliverable
QUESTIONS BEFORE COMMITTING
Questions business owners commonly need answered
Can a livestream run over mobile internet?
Sometimes, but performance depends on coverage, congestion and stability at the exact venue and time. Connectivity must be tested.
Is YoloBox itself an internet connection?
No. A YoloBox device can support switching and encoding. A separate suitable network connection carries the stream.
Does every event need multiple cameras?
No. The run-of-show, audience expectations, budget and stage setup determine how many views actually improve the experience.
Why record an event that is livestreamed?
Recording can support approved replay, accessibility work and later reuse. The rights, scope and deliverables need agreement first.
Need help with a livestream or broadcast?
Describe the audience, location, camera feeds, connectivity and reliability requirements.
We scope a production or integration solution; we do not sell individual equipment.
FROM REQUIREMENT TO DELIVERY
Explain the business challenge first
You don’t need to know the right camera, microphone, software or production workflow. Tell us what the customer needs to see, hear or understand, where the work happens and what decision the result should support.
